Rabbit R2:
Phone-Free Freedom
The R2 Breakthroughs
Zero-Latency Action
By running a localized “mini-LAM” on the device’s internal NPU, simple tasks—like smart home control or basic messaging—now trigger in under 200ms, removing the “thinking” lag of the previous model.
The rabbitOS 2.0
The new OS introduces “Teach Mode” directly on the device. Simply point the R2 at your computer screen, show it how you perform a unique task, and it will memorize the sequence forever.
Privacy-First Eye
A physical shutter now covers the camera when not in use. Additionally, all visual processing for the Large Action Model is now encrypted with end-to-end hardware keys.
The Daily Companion
In our testing, the R2 excelled in “hands-busy” environments. While cooking, we could simply say, “Rabbit, find me a high-protein dinner recipe based on the ingredients on my counter,” and the camera would scan the groceries and read out instructions. It handles the ‘digital heavy lifting’ so you can stay present.
However, the R2 still struggles with complex multi-step logistics that require MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) on a phone, proving that while it’s a great companion, the smartphone remains the primary security anchor.
The Hardware Specs:
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 AI Chip, 12GB RAM, and a stunning 2000-nit outdoor-readable display.
